Visitors

Well Adam has made it safely to Australia even if he was complaining about the heat and humidity after on 5 minutes :p It has actually bee really mild with a wonderful cool breeze since he’s been here too.

Surprisingly enough he had no troubles getting through customs…. and all this came from one bag! I had so much fun unpacking it *giggle* . There is enough halloween candy to kill numerous small children not to mention grown adults and peeps. I had my first peep experience yesterday. They are strange , very , very strange.

With all the craft fair craziness and getting ready for visitors I haven’t done a great deal on Belladonna’s gift. I did get her started though and will be sure to post pics as soon as I get the chance. :)
for now though I need to make calls to confirm my dry ice for saturday and finalise my menu.

Hey now… I only mentioned the weather that once. hehe. It’s actually been quite pleasant. I slept like a log last night, and that’s saying something for me, since I generally like it quite cool.

I still can’t believe they didn’t stop me in customs for having the spookiest duffel bag ever. Whatever the reason, I’m grateful. hehe

The most amusing thing so far though is responding to your blog when I’m sitting here watching you stitch on Belladonna’s gift. :p

Very cool loot. And congrats on managing to pack it all without Vicky’s special packing skills Adam.

Vicky is that all still on the coffee table, or did you move it out the way and lay it all on the carpet?

My goodness, between Adam’s pack of halloween goodies and that humungous stash hall at the fair you must be in happy-heaven! Those handy dyed fabbies and flossies look particularly yummy. Nicely done! :)

Peeps! Ack! Did you tell her what the eyes on those things are made out of, Adam? And how about the Easter fun of Peep jousting? http://www.punkasspunk.com/peeps/joust/ (Please pardon the link name… but this is *the* site for proper Peep jousting!) Jousting just doesn’t work with the pumpkins and ghosts. For all you people who just don’t know about the scary blob of chemicals called Peeps, here you go! http://www.marshmallowpeeps.com/ I can’t stand them, but my Maggie loves ‘em.

Glad you made it safely, Adam… and I know I’d not want to search a bag with all that stuff in there! I’d get sugar poisoning! *grins*

It was 35 degrees at the bus stop here in VA this morning… and it’s only October! BRRR!

Sue .. 35 degrees can I come there? Sounds lovely :D
The peeps are very very scary and taste funny. I am not a fan of the peeps even if they do look cute and halloweeny.
And now you have me all concerned about what the eyes are made of *hides*. I had seen the peep jousting page it was truly funny we were going to try and face pumpkin off against ghost but we won;t have time with everything that needs to get done yet, ohwell.
Back to filling the pinata for me and then onto painting more gravestones :D
