I seem to have lost a week…

I don’t suppose anyone has found it have they?

I’m behind on my emails again and my blogging but I guess that happens when all that life stuff gets in the way.
I have gotten a little stitching done though *cheers*. I had a new start for QS Wed which I will be alternating with FIRE (once I frog out thelittle mistake I made on her). I started “Lost” by Lisa Victoria, a little pixie sent me some HAED charts during the week and he was one of them. I jsut couldn’t resist that gorgeous little dragon for the life of me. No pics though as all I have done is a rather uninteresting row of 400-500 stiches of 310. Next time he comes out though I will be putting some stitches into his little butterfly friend :)

In other stitchy new those Santas of Doom have increased thier number from 8 to 9 meaning I am 75% done and have 3 to finish before now and christmas Eeeep! I still keep telling myself I will make it.

Thanks to everyone for the input on my colour conundrum. I will be restarting it (avoiding thr frogging for now) the piece of fabric I have is big enough for me to restart without frogging which will save me some precious time as well. I’ll go with the popular choice of passionfruit and hopefully will haev soem progres to show on it after this weekend. That is if I don’t end up spending all my spare time on santas and my round robin :)

In case your interested to see the ever growing legion of the Santas of Doom here is a rather dodgey pictue of the 9 so far with my trivial start on the tenth :)

Did you check the back door for your lost week? Wait no… that’s your keys. I’m afraid I might have stolen two weeks from you, but not this last one. :P

I am glad that a little dragon found its way to you, though. It doesn’t have to be lost anymore. I wonder who sent it?

And kick ass progress on the Santas of DOOM. You’re so close! I know it’s been tough to dedicate time to it, but I think you can still make your deadline if you stick with it.

    cheers you on :D

their rather too cute to really be called S.O.D’s
sort makes them scary i think.. i mean they look so innocent but they are S.O.D. so they must be evil really

think i need to go to bed….

Ahh, but it’s things that are cute that can potentially be the most evil, Fudgey. I’ve noticed this most especially with cats. :P

That’s a beautiful piece! My mom would go nuts over that.

Did you check eBay for your lost week? Make sure you get a cut of the profits!

The SOD Legion look quite adorable!

I will confess that after plodding through a few hours of my RR today that I finally caved to two pair of lovely red eyes and started them today… can I squee? I have to go to PA this week where the awful peanut butter incident happened and I’m not sure I’m ready… so a new start is just the thing! ;)

*HUGS!* … and I can’t wait to see your RR!! *bounce*

Way to go on the Santas of Doom. Leslie is going to go nuts, so it will all be worth it.

Lost week?! Try a lost year. Now I’d really like that back. Or at least just the last few months of it :)

Sue, very excited about your start of the big red eyes. It’s such a lovely chart!

Fudgey, cute things are often evil, just ask Vicky about ducks! Or was it geese, well, they’re not cute, but you get the idea. Adam…. evil cats? Well, ok, some are I guess. Especially when they like to wake you up at 4am

I had an experience as a child that has scarred me for life with cats.

I was staying over at a friends house where a litter of kittens were running rampant. I slept that night on the floor, only to wake (at 4am, no less) to kittens playing on my chest, gnawing and clawing at my clothing, and in places, me.

It was a furry, cute, painful flurry of fluffy doom.

Plus cats are inherently evil because they make me sneeze. :P

Ok, I can understand that. When my cat was just a kitten, he used to crawl under my bed covers and attack my feet every time they moved. Wouldn’t have bothered me if he had been on top of the blankets :) Actually he still does that sometimes when he is feeling playful - he’ll be on my bed jumping on my feet everytime I try to slide them under the covers, of course it tickles so I yank them back, only for it all to happen again LOL

lucy cat my first cat i had when i left home used to get inside the cover of the doona and run like a little maniac up the cover and smack into my head at the top… great way to wake up..
though preferred to her bite my nose technique she also employed..

So vicky is scared of ducks??

i am terrified of cows.. they can kill you..
seriously.. great source of amusement for my family my cow phobia
