Stitching days, dragons and more
I bundled up all too many wips and silkies adn headed off to nics for a day of chocolate stash fondling and even some stitching. ![]()
For a stitchy day we surprisingly actually got some stitching done for a change. I was a bit ADD like with choosing something to work on though. I bounced between my new cirques start (yes Sue I have started!) and my Japanese garden mostly. There really isn’t enough done to show pictures of either one though. At least no today.
When I got home I settled in for the night and worked on my Losst little dragon for the QS SAL. It is mostly background but I did start filling in some of the multitude of single stitches around the edges of the butterfly.
In other stitching news Mr B gave me a shopping spree online for christmas (with his credit card). Nothing over the top thankfully but I have put in an order into Stitching bits and bobs for seom threads etc thanks to thier 25% off sale. I have a bit more to spend at Had Dyed Fibres too once I sort out which colours I want. I’ve also been gifted some HAED charts Dillmans Fall fire and Queen of the night sky as well as Stephanie Pui-Man Law Page of wands. Whew that seems like so much already. I do want to say thank you to all the lovely little pixies that sent me gifts tank you so much. Between prints and silks , nightmare goodies, new charts and yummy whiskey along with all manner of other little treats I am feeling terribly spoilt *hugs* to you all and I hope your holidays were filled with happy moments.
For now though I think I have rambled enough… well that an I need to go clean and set up for our boardgames and bbq thing we are doing today. More pics of my stitching efforts soon. Hopefully my last christmas package will arrive soon and I can show what I got up to before christmas ![]()

Merry Post-Christmas!
It sounds like you made quite a haul all-in-all, and a stitching day is always a fantastic diversion.
I know you’re still waiting from a package from here, but I do promise it will be out soon.
You’ll get to have a second Christmas, a tradition I’m growing quite fond of.
That butterfly is just gorgeous!
