Before April disappears into the sunset…
So I have been nagged.. maybe a little about where my March / April update is…. and well it is probably time for me to admit there is nothing to update 😀
The remainder of March was spent in end of term hell and the joys of 47 parent teacher interviews over two nights add that to a board of governors ‘drinks’ thing that is compulsory attendance and well you have at least three nights at work until 9pm and that was without even touching the work I am usually doing until that time. So yep… the rest of March was a right off. Â The hat is still sitting waiting for the decreases, no stitches were put in to lost and pretty much nothing crafty happened at all.
So here we are at April and surprisingly school holidays. That should mean more craft time but so far… not looking so good. The usual holiday routine of guests and work should mean limited time with my needles so I better keep the goals simple. Of course the other holiday tradition of a trip to Bendigo was also altered with a planned trip to a great looking store in Kyneton but it would seem that they missed the memo on our shopping needs and the Tuesday we turned up in town everyone was closed.. hmm… maybe they did get the memo and just ran away.
Hopefully the rip will be on again later next week and this time with the added bonus of an open shop ready for our retail needs.
So lets see … goal thingies
April Goals
- Finish G’s Etta hat
- Block G’s cowl
- 30 rows on Dr Who scarf (I did get about 16 rows done on this in March but would like to see it progress some more)
- 1 long cable band for my cardigan.. I want to be wearing it before he end of Autumn.
Ahh yes reasonable I see… lol oh well lets see how this goes.
